Mary Coe, pastry chef and owner of Chocoelat, has been in the pastry industry for over 20 years. Following her graduation from culinary school in 1980, she completed her pastry apprenticeship in Wattwil, Switzerland at the Abderhalden Konditerei. In the years following her training, she has worked in every facet of the pastry industry, including lead cake decorator for Copenhagen Bakery, the pastry chef at the Marriott Hotel, and as a product consultant with Albert Uster Imports. In 1998, she was honored to be named one of the top 30 wedding cake designers out of over 700 pastry chefs in the country by Domaine Carneros Winery.
Throughout her career, wedding cakes have always been her passion. She started Chocoelat in 2001 to devote her full energy to the endeavor. Since we only produce wedding cakes, we can devote ourselves to providing customized service and producing fresh, delicious and creative cakes.
